The Butterfly Series, 2020
The Butterflies Series is the only non-nude series I have in my collections. It was suggested by many friends and associates for years as an alternative for the non figurative clients. I think this series, although very pretty, misses the point of my work. They were not built to be nudes. Some come closer than others, but I am exploring the edge of perception with my works. Do you see nudes at first or interesting patterns... I feel my best work comes when the nudes take on a secondary role. Parts of the whole. Now we have Butterflies - Enjoy!
